Before you decide to delete your Steam account, think about all of your options.
1. On your Mac or PC, open your preferred web browser and go to https://store.steampowered.com/account/.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see “Delete my Steam account.”
3. A new page will appear once you click “Delete my Steam account.” To complete the procedure, click “Proceed to account cancellation.”
4. Click “Submit Account Deletion Request” in the next box that appears. Fill in all of the mandatory fields. This is so Valve can make sure you’re the rightful owner of the account and not a malicious hacker.
5. When you’ve completed all of the essential fields, click “Send.”
Following the submission of your account deletion request, a member of Steam Support will contact you to discuss the next stages in the account deletion process.
If your deletion request is approved, your account will be active for 30 days (although you won’t be able to make purchases) in case you change your mind. You’ll get an email on the 30th day informing you that your account is about to be deleted.
Your account will be permanently cancelled on the 31st day.
